Este livro é uma viagem aos meus blocos de notas que, assim como eu, viajaram e emigraram.

As reflexões e os poemas escritos à mão falam-nos da distância e da proximidade entre nós próprios e os lugares. Falam-nos de sentimentos, da transição e da descoberta de uma identidade. Falam-nos da saudade, da nostalgia e do desafio que é enfrentar o conforto e a vulnerabilidade.

Ir Embora is my first portuguese poetry book. Entirely self published.

This book is a journey through my notebooks the have also traveled and emigrated.

The handwritten poems and reflections talk about the distance and proximity that we share with ourselves and the places we live. It talks about feelings, transitioning, and discovering our identity. It also talks about nostalgy, and the challenge of facing our comfort and vulnerability.
